Help - About NACR/North American Cockapoo Registry
Birdwalk Farm is a Registered
Breeder with the North American
Cockapoo Registry. We will complete the NACR registration for you,
filing all needed information with the registry which will generate
your Registration papers and certificate. There is a $10 fee that
goes to the NACR for registration which is included in the purchase
price of your puppy. Your cockapoo's certificate will be
sent directly to you from the NACR.
If you have a name selected when
you get your cockapoo – a name you know will not change - please
provide it to us for the filing information. If you do not have a name
selected at that time, we will send a copy of the form home with your
pup so you can supply the name to the NACR (all other registration
information will be on file at the NACR). If you need a bit of time to
be sure of the name (it's not unusual to have a puppy's name
change a few times in the first week or so), that is fine but be sure
to contact us within 10 days with the final decision. Bear in mind the registered
name does not
have to have anything to do with the everyday name
you are going to call the dog. We do require you use the Birdwalk
prefix with the registered name; the NACR allows 35 spaces for the
name, so for example you could name your puppy Birdwalk's Little
Shadow Smith (if your surname is Smith, or even if it is not),
yet the everyday name you call your puppy could be "Buffy".
