Help - For those wishing to fly in to TN for their puppy
We will meet folks at the airport on normal shipping days
for no additional charge, IF we are shipping that week. This can
usually be arranged a couple weeks ahead of time. Times will need to be
arranged in advance. If you are flying in be aware that some airlines
will require a flight health certificate (this will be a cost to you of
$50, and we need a week's notice). You will also need an
airline-approved soft-sided carrier to fit under the seat in the cabin
– if you need one it can be provided here at a charge of $50.
Many airlines will also charge you up to $75 for the privilege of
exchanging one of your carry on bags for the pup’s carrier. We
can meet you at your hotel if you are staying ovr, other wise we meet
you at the terminal. You are welcome to rent a car and come out to the
farm - 1 1/2 hours from Knoxville (80 miles) or 2 hours from Nashville
(120 miles) On a non shipping day sometimes I can arrange for someone
to meet you at the airport but there would be a courrier charge of $100
- $150, depending on day and airport.
The local airstrip is CSV and
accommodates most smaller corporate jet sizes. Pilots can look up info
needed per their situation.
